Meet María Castellon, a proud native of Villa Purificación, Jalisco. After earning her law degree, María made the bold move to the United States in search of new opportunities. What she found was something unexpected—a deep love for food and the joy it brings to people.

Driven by this newfound passion, María opened her first restaurant, 4 Caminos, in Vancouver, WA. It quickly became a place where authentic flavors and heartfelt hospitality came together. Now, with Nuevo Camino in Portland, María and her family are embracing a fresh start—a new journey built on resilience, tradition, and the hope of something beautiful rising from adversity.
